The balanced arm is made of dark red fiberglass to be as light as possible and consequently reduce the counterweight. A very important lamp perhaps also a milestone in development technology since this was the first lamp ever using fiberglass. The joint allows the arm to move both on the vertical and on the horizontal plane. The polycarbonate moulded reflector rotates on both axes thanks to an asymmetrical fork. Original 1975 edition in excellent vintage condition.
